This 3 hour offering is a journey into deep relaxation. Through a combination of yin, Reiki, meditation, and yoga nidra your body and mind have an opportunity to restore balance and heal from the demands of urban life.
After an opening guided meditation, you’ll transition into Yin. This passive practice promotes stillness and relaxation through long static-held postures while softening the muscles. Reiki, a form of energy healing, will be given during Yin if you wish to receive. The class ends with yoga nidra (yogic sleep) which brings the mind into deeper states with benefits of relaxation and healing. In addition, yoga nidra has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.
